11 Year Olds Advance to Sectional Championship Game Tonight
After winning the Little League District 5 Championship last week, the 11 year old Wallingford Little League all star team has advanced to the Sectional Final game tonight vs. Shelton American (District 3 Champion).
Wallingford is coming off a 17-7 victory last night over the same Shelton American team. On Sunday, Wallingford beat Avon 11-10 in a thriller to secure their place in the Sectional Final. Tonight's game is a single elimination game and the winner will advance to the State Championship tournament next week in Windsor.
Tonight's game will be held at Plainville Little League's Trumbull Park (see here) at 6:30pm. Admission is free so take the family to see some great baseball and root on our 11 year old district team.
